Geisha N°14 radiates a refined aesthetic through the subtle interplay of matte and glossy materials. The kimono is entirely hand-painted with metallic acrylics, giving it a luxurious, almost jewel-like sheen. In contrast, the skin and hair are rendered in matte tones, creating a striking yet elegant contrast. This deliberate choice enhances the serene and mysterious presence of the geisha, who is portrayed with her back turned toward the viewer.
The background features golden hues with a soft craquelure finish along the edges, offering a classic frame-like effect without the need for an actual frame — a sophisticated touch that completes the piece.
