Geisha 21 is a fully hand-painted, one-of-a-kind original artwork in which refinement and stillness come together. The portrait is built up in relief, giving the surface a tangible depth. The rich golden background enhances its serene presence, while the subtly painted crackle effect along the edges refers to time and tradition. The geisha is depicted in a deep black kimono and rendered with great precision. The refined hair ornaments and delicate details give the work a quiet elegance and an almost sacred presence. The painting is executed on canvas measuring 100 × 70 cm, carefully varnished and signed by the artist.
Within Japanese culture, the geisha embodies discipline, dedication, and artistic perfection. For generations, geishas have devoted themselves to music, dance, etiquette, and the art of refined presence. In this work, that world becomes tangible: silence, inner strength, and mystery meet in a portrait that feels both classical and timeless.
Geisha 21 is therefore not only a portrait, but also a tribute to tradition, craftsmanship, and the beauty of mastery.
